Join us for world-class downhill riding on the sunny slopes of Southern Spain. Ride the best downhill trails on Spain’s sunny south coast—Malaga’s Costa del Sol and Granada’s Tropical Coast—guided by locals who know every line, shortcut, and fresh-cut section. From fast flow to steeper technical rock gardens, we tailor each day to your speed and skill so you get maximum laps with minimum faff.

Why Book a Downhill MTB Week with Us?

Chase gravity on dry, grippy tracks with year-round sunshine. Our base between Málaga’s Costa del Sol and Granada’s Tropical Coast gives you fast access to the best downhill zones in Lanjarón, Motril, Otívar, Lecrín Valley, Torrox, La Zubia and Granada. Expect everything from rocky, race-pace straights to wooded singletrack, sniper roots and steep tech—all 100% uplifted so your energy goes into the descents.

100% uplifted DH – 4×4 and minibus shuttles all day, no pedalling to the top.

Amazing zones – Lanjarón, Motril, Ótivar, Lecrín Valley, Torrox, La Zubia & Granada.

Sunny, dry conditions – ride year-round with coastal microclimates and Sierra foothills.

Villa life – pool, secure bike storage, tools & wash-down; chill hard after you ride hard.

Certified MIAS guides – safety first, fun always; perfect lines and sessioning on tap.

Airport transfers (AGP) – Malaga arrivals within our transfer windows.

Trails & Terrain Snapshot

Granada / La Zubia – fast, open corners, rock gardens, big views of the Sierra Nevada.

Lanjarón / Lecrín – classic DH tracks, dusty switchbacks, cheeky gaps (all rollable).

Torrox / Costa del Sol – pines, flow, and longer descents with a mix of tech and speed.

Otívar / Motril – steeper chutes, loose marbles, and committed lines for those who want it.

FAQ

Do I need to be an expert? What bike/gear is required?
Our DH weeks are for confident intermediate to advanced riders (comfortable on red/black trails). A downhill or long-travel enduro bike (160–200 mm) is ideal. Full-face helmet is mandatory; we strongly recommend knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, and a back/chest protector.
Expect 5-7 uplifted runs per day depending on trail length, group pace and daylight. We start with a safety/line briefing, run shuttles all day with no stops, so bring packed lunch, and finish with a cold drink back at the villa (pool + bike wash). For 7-night stays we ride 5 days; for 4-night stays we ride 3 days.
Yes— group airport transfers from Málaga (AGP) within our standard windows (Saturday Morning´s) and villa accommodation with pool, workshop, Wi-Fi and secure bike storage are included. We stock breakfast supplies; lunches and dinners are pay-as-you-go at local cafés and restaurants, or you can cook in one of the three kitchens at the RSS Villa. Non-riders get a discount and are welcome at the villa.
We can arrange high-spec rental bikes (pre-booking essential). But it´s better to bring your own bike, it´s easy and cheaper then renting a bike. If you are not sure how to bring your own bike to Spain, contact us and we will explain everything. Personal travel/medical/accident insurance covering downhill MTB is mandatory.
