Join us for world-class downhill riding on the sunny slopes of Southern Spain. Ride the best downhill trails on Spain’s sunny south coast—Malaga’s Costa del Sol and Granada’s Tropical Coast—guided by locals who know every line, shortcut, and fresh-cut section. From fast flow to steep tech, we tailor each day to your speed and skill so you get maximum laps with minimum faff.
Why Book a Downhill MTB Week with Us?
Fresh cut, maintained, fast flowing trails with technical sections & year-round sunshine. Our base between Málaga’s Costa del Sol and Granada’s Tropical Coast gives you fast access to the best downhill zones in Lanjarón, Motril, Otívar, Lecrín Valley, Torrox, La Zubia and Granada. Expect everything from rocky, race-pace straights to wooded singletrack, big berms, features and steep tech, all 100% uplifted so your energy goes into the descents.
• 100% uplifted DH – 4×4 and minibus shuttles all day, no pedalling.
• Amazing zones: Lanjarón, Motril, Ótivar, Lecrín Valley, Torrox, La Zubia, Granada & Malaga. We can ride tracks anywhere at sea level and over a 1000 meters above sea level, in different areas to chase the best weather.
• Sunny, dry conditions – ride year-round with coastal microclimates and Sierra foothills.
• Villa life – pool, secure bike storage, tools & wash-down; chill hard with our pizza oven and fire pit after you ride hard.
• Certified MIAS guides – safety first, fun always; perfect lines and sessioning on tap.
• Airport transfers (AGP) – Malaga arrivals within our transfer windows.
DH Downhill Tracks
• Lanjarón / Lecrín – 2.1, EL6 (new fresh cut), Lanjaron DH and Bedrock. These four tracks are Ride Southern Spain´s exclusive trails.
• Velez de Benaudalla – RSS DH, Moby Dick, Superskunk.
• Motril – the classic Motril DH track is surrounded by other tracks on the same hillside, more than enough for a day. There is even a brand new fresh cut track for the advanced riders.
• Torrox Malaga – amazing views over the Costa del Sol, this fast, flowy, rocky track finishes at the sea.
• Otívar / Almuñecar – Otivar is one of Spain´s national DH tracks, fast straight line speed and rocky. A new fresh cut track in Almuñecar is also available for the advanced riders.
• Granada / La Zubia – this track doesn´t have the most gradient, but it makes up with it´s jumps and playful nature, great for day 1 or a chilled day on the mountain bike. Possibly the fastest uplift in the world.
• Güejar Sierra – these tracks are firm favourites with enduro riders, but for the DH riders who enjoy slightly tighter trails, this is also a day not to be missed.
Why Riders Choose Us
• Local knowledge: we live here—we know which tracks ride best in which wind/temperature.
• A big part of what you pay for goes straight back into trail maintenance — so the trails ride better every year.
• Proper workshop: tools, spares advice, secure storage and bike wash at the villa.
• No faff: airport collection (within our time window), breakfast supplies in, pool ready.
Getting Here
Fly into Málaga (AGP). We’ll meet you within our transfer window and get you to the villa. Transfer time is just over 1 hour. Packing a bike bag? We have mini buses with enclosed trailers transport to the door.
Who It’s For

• Mates’ trips and clubs after a hassle-free, fully guided uplift holiday in Spain.
• Progression seekers aiming to level up on consistent terrain with coaching-style tips from experienced guides.
Typical Riding Day
Breakfast → Uplifts →5–7 descents → Sit down meal, coffee break or no stopping and bringing packed lunch, we tailor the groups needs → More laps → Cold plunge/pool → BBQ or local tapas.
We usually rotate between zones to match conditions and your goals—steep and tech one day, flow and speed the next—always with line checks, B-lines and session time for features you want to tick off.

• Rider level: confident intermediate to advanced. Newer gravity riders welcome if happy on red/black trails.
• Bikes: DH rigs or 160–180 mm enduro bikes (dual-ply or sturdy tyres recommended).
• Protection: full-face helmet, knee pads mandatory; body armour and goggles strongly recommended.
What Our Weeks Feel Like
Villa life, pool dips, late-arvo golden light and that big-day tiredness only gravity riders know. Evenings are low-key: pizza oven nights, BBQs or a stroll to local tapas. It’s a downhill mountain bike holiday in Spain where everything’s sorted… you just ride.
